Plumery is a European fintech start-up. It provides a digital banking development platform designed to enable customer-centric banking experiences.

In 2023, The Comms Crowd supported Plumery with a content project as a tester for our services. Based on this project’s success and Plumery’s move toward a key growth phase in 2024, we switched to a retained programme. The new programme focused on building brand visibility, establishing market credibility, and positioning Plumery’s leadership as a recognised voice in digital banking.

The brief

Plumery had limited visibility and no formalised messaging. The priority was to establish a clear market position and build awareness across the fintech and digital banking ecosystem.

The Comms Crowd began by developing a structured messaging foundation, including a core value proposition, boilerplate, and key messaging pillars. Together, they provided the basis for all external communications and ensured consistency across media, content, and awards submissions.

From there, activity expanded into a full PR and content programme, including media outreach, thought leadership, press releases, and an awards strategy designed to build sector credibility and recognition.

The Comms Crowd also worked closely with Plumery’s leadership team to identify relevant industry themes, including mobile banking, payments innovation, and the evolution of digital banking platforms, positioning the company within high-value industry conversations.
