Providing PR, content and analyst relations to UK public sector tech SME
Our tech team began working with dxw in 2014. Over the years we provided thought leadership and campaign-based PR, associated content and analyst relations services.
The firm was as strong on its culture as it was its services and is a UK success story. It provides digital services to the public sector, helping central and local government as well as the NHS to make good technology decisions and build better services.
Like many UK SMEs that support the public sector, dxw depends on government procurement frameworks to bid for and win work. Our role has been to draw attention to changes in these frameworks and make sure they remain fit for purpose. Our industry-recognised campaigns have been championed by the media and ensured dxw’s voice of eminent reason has been heard and acted upon at the highest levels in government.
Another big priority has been to use our PR skills to help dxw grow its team of agile developers, researchers and engineers, firmly positioning the company as a pioneer of digital services for the public sector and a great place to work. To that end we’ve helped them win a raft of awards, including:
The Techies, Best place for Developers to Work 2018, Digital Leaders: Best SME to Work for 2017, Information Age: Young Tech Leader of 2017, The Good Web Guide Awards: Best Business Site 2016, The BBC’s Digital Ones to Watch 2015.
Harry Metcalfe, founder and MD, dxw digital and dxw cyber: “The Comms Crowd found us in the very early days and have been a big part of our journey. They genuinely ‘get’ us – they know what we’re passionate about and create the right opportunities for us to get dxw’s perspective out into the public arena. Their proactive support has been unwavering and they have been an important part of our growth.”
Former cabinet minister Matthew Hancock personally visited dxw to highlight how UK SMEs are successfully engaging with the public sector.
